I captured these photos along the Mystic River. The river brings a wonderful esthetic to this vibrant town. It is the perfect canvas for the artist's brush or the photgrapher's lens.
I am always focused on color and spaces & describing the interaction between them and the real objects in my compositions. I have been working in watercolor, acrylic & photography in an impressionist style. I this past year or so, I have expanded my work to include the language of abstraction & I continue to enjoy the evolution of my artistic journey.

It was a stormy day in Medford Heights. At dusk, for a few moments only the light was striking with a soft rain scent. I luckily snapped a photo. I could not wait to make my own impression of that earth-gift moment. The next morning, I used soft-pastel to match my sense of this contrasting moment. The New England light is special to me and one of my most cherished value as a French native. I moved from Paris to Boston in 1982 and began painting. My artwork is semi-abstract and evocative. I work in a variety of mediums, including gouache, pastels, and mixed media. I have been exhibiting in the United States, Puerto Rico and France.
